I am soo happy he got nominated again. what pisses me off is that the sags never nominate him. pffffttttttttttt!!!!! Golden Globes usually always get it right with nominating and even giving it to him for Walk The Line and a grammy too!:) Everyone knows but the dang Oscars & SAG HMPH:(
I do wish him well, sorry he has to go to the awards. but i do hope he wins;) it would help him i think not that he really needs it, cos he does well on his own, but it would boost his income perhaps if he needed it and won it;) xoxox

Difficult to say for a limited release that's in major cities only Here's the full movie list to compare:
http://pro.boxoffice.com/statistics/bo_numbers/early_estimate/2014-12-13The actually sites gives these figures for Inherent Vice:
The site average seems very high But I think it was for The Master too when that went on limited release |

ahh.. maybe half and half then, depending on how you look at it. I think it's good for Inherent Vice myself. for now.. Does PTAS films usually generate alot of revenue more than what he has for The Master and Inherent Vice?
Thanks for the list. hugs oxox

I really loved this movie. I am still high from viewing it in 35mm. Got the best seats in the house, got to meet Hong Chau, who plays Jade and spent a good part of the evening with and even sat by this totally hot guy dressed as Doc. This film exceeded my expectations and it was all around a very funny and fun film. Martin Short kind of disappointed me, probably because I did not find his character funny, but rather creepy. I did not like Katherine Waterson or Reese Witherspoons performances, but loved my friend, Jordan Christian Hearn, Joanna Newsom's performances. I am still on the fence about Josh Brolin. Its love/hate. Absolutely loved Joaquin's performances. Absolutely loveable character. The ending, well, it is much better than in the book. I walked out of this film feeling like I was walking on cloud 9. I look forward to seeing it again. I still feel like a million bucks. Its kind of like I am in love all over again.

It is my favorite performance. The character Joaquin is not in the movie. Doc introduces himself to Smedley of Spotted Dick in the movie, but itwas only a cameo. I will have to pm you, babe, because i could give so much away by telling what was in the book, but not the movie. im glad you have enjoyed my review as well. Just let me know what you want to and dont want to know. Sorry about the shitty typing. My fucking tablet is giving me a difficult time.
