This is Sami, your former fan at this forum. How are you ? I hope everything is going well. I can't believe you are now a dad! You must have changed a lot. I need to catch up with your interviews, I have been disconnected.
Well, I write you as if you were a former friend and truth is I don't know you in person but all those years I followed your interviews and watched all your films I felt really close to you. Unfortunately, later something bad happened which you probably know but I want you to know that now I'm doing great ! I have been working really hard. I went back to school and I'm almost done with a teaching master so next year I will become a highschool Music teacher which Will give me more free time and more financial stability, that Will allow me more possibilities! I won't give up all my projectes here but little by little I Will let you know ☺️
Anyway, Yes, there's a reason why I write you now: I saw the Joker film on Netflix the other day. I didn't want to watch It first because i didn't know how I would feel seeing you again on screen but I did a little sneak peak and I got hooked. I couldn't see you through the character, you were almost unrecognizable! That was brillant. The humanity underneath such a brutal character... It was moving. Only you could have understood the complexity and all the layers beneath this kind of violence.How the system fails and how society fails and how family fails and the selfishness of those privileged Who don't want to help others in need keeps the poor without almost alternatives.
This film touched so many key points and unfortunately things aren't improving any time soon.
It was a pleasure to watch even thought I can't stand violent movies. Now I have to go, I'm going to the beach. I have a few days off before I continuen to finish my studies.
