But listen , this is a huge eye opener for many ppl. I knew it was all about politics but I didn't know to what extent . Expect repercussions . Any ppl will start creating competing awards , indies will gain strength .. There's just so much creative ppl not being represented .

I have to go to a funeral today so my mood isn't exactly jolly anyway, but this thread is just....I actually feel sick. Even though I kind of knew what to expect, the Oscars really did surpass themselves this time! Cursing

I never did want Joaquin to go anywhere near the Oscars but I'm glad he had his sister's company. Joaquin hasn't shown up at any of the awards with HC and even though that might not mean that he doesn't have a girlfriend, the possibility that he'll go home afterwards to no-one just makes me cry. Not because he didn’t win the award; because he sat through it all and Seth MacFarlane’s (whoever he is, besides the host of the circus) ‘jest’ about him. FFS! Very original! Not!

I love you, Joaquin.
