Ok, so I haven't watched all of this video yet because it's nearly 1/2 an hour long, but I wanna know who that guy pretending to be Joaquin is. 
Seriously though, yeah, he's still a bit fidgety but he seems a lot more relaxed and playful in all the footage and photos we've seen of him recently compared to the last time we saw him do this kind of thing. Maybe New York suits him. Or he's in a happier place within himself these days. Maybe he's in love. 
I thought the same thing, lol, lol, maybe love??

Haha. Great minds, etc., Kitten.
Well, you know, Joaquin might have drank (drunk..?) a bottle of Rescue Remedy or that gum he was chewing had some kind of nerve relaxant in it, or whatever, but, despite evidence to the contrary, I'm a romantic at heart, so I'm going with the 'Joaquin's in love' theory.

Enjoy Joaquin look'n happy while it lasts! Awards season is not far off... and a night at the Oscars or Golden Globes will soon see Joaquin back to his grumpy but loveable self i'm sure!
Personally i think there is no chance of seeing Joaquin at the Oscars! But, i'd like to think he'd maybe go to to the BAFTAs, he seemed to have a good time there?  |

Film Review: HER: A Different Plain of Existence ‘ship – NYFF 2013
"In the present time where relationships can survive with Skype, Facetime, Facebook, Messengers, texting, picture texts, and so much more, it’s not beyond the realm of possibility for this relationship to exist. But like Theodore, I too would create an ideal and would be unable to settle for anything less than the version I knew and loved. The need to be touched, loved, and not feel lonely is such a potent emotion and Phoenix’s performance is superb. Only when the camera lingers, perhaps even a beat too long, did I ever feel I was watching Joaquin Phoenix and not his character, Theodore." Score: 10/10 |
