Hi Fedupandstressed,
According to imdb it's released in Spain on 13th June 2014.
Why not order the French DVD and watch it in the comfort of your own home right now!  It's English with French subtitles i believe... unless you wanted to see the Spanish dubbed version specifically?

I was just trying to empathise with you Fedupandstressed because you still have to wait yet another month to see the movie even though it was initial debuted at the Cannes film festival a year ago!  Hope it's worth the wait for you! |

Director James Gray Discusses 'The Immigrant'
Some nice comments from James about Joaquin and we learn that the movie had a budget (relatively small budget) of $12.8m!
James does an impersonation of Joaquin too!

he looks cute! and i have been thinking th the first place where the movie was shown in Spain was in the European Festival of Seville... i tried to get ticket but only 2 days in a cinema... it was imposible! None of the team of the movie came!
