Joaquin is right , it's very difficult to quit. I smoked a pack a day for 15 years . I tried quitting several times and the withdrawal symptoms were terrifying . I once managed to quit for few months but got back to if bec I wasn't really convinced . Now I've been nicotine free for over a year and I don't have any desire to smoke again . I used Allen Carr easy way . It's really easy once you debunk all the myths that make you feel like you need to smoke . Once you understand the need to smoke vanishes and it's easy to quit . Yay, first post!!! Was searching to see if he was successful and found this... Love Joaquin but certainly hope he can quit (I'm not judging, former smoker myself.)

Hi stpahd,
Well, the interview with Jimmy Fallon was in December 2013 and this photo was taken in February 2014:
So, it doesn't look like Joaquin managed to give up smoking at the time of the interview! 
Well, i guess there is still time... 
I haven't seen his girlfriend smoking, so maybe she can put some pressure on him to stop!
But, then i guess in film roles he'll have to use those fake cigarettes or only take roles where the character doesn't smoke. |

I really liked the Jimmy Fallon interview. Joaquin appeared to be more at ease during the interview and they even joked around pretending to break up. That is the part that made me laugh. I would really like to see Joaquin eventually quit smoking, but you know, I can't really go there because I've tried to quit smoking over the years and always seem to come back to it myself.
