Yes, I can see those images in the film poster now that you've pointed them out. I can see a mask and the third eye too but also a partially opened (upside down) umbrella. I think the idea with the tests is that you say the first thing which comes to mind and it's this which reveals the state of mind. However, when used as a diagnostic tool or to evaluate the progress of a course of treatment or therapy, more than one inkblot is used.

Cool! Cool I haven't seen that before. I can see a bat too, but I thought of an angel first. BigGrin The guy holding the inkblot looks a bit menacing in this photo.

I think that if I had to take a proper inkblot test right now I'd ask for the blot to be turned to show different perspectives before I decided. Laugh

That's nice! I wasn't expecting another trailer.. I think I will have a problem understanding the dialogues though, they whisper a lot.. What is the last thing Dodd says?
"If you live here I don't want to see you again or you can stay .. " ?

Does that make sense?

Oh, he probably says : if you leave here... But he is missing a preposition then, shouldn't it be "if you leave from here"?

I can't tell how live and leave are pronounced differently , sigh, and I never will !!

The trailer is epic btw!

Sami, i think you were correct the second time:

"If you leave here, i don't ever want to see you again... or you can stay".

Apparently, people who have seen the movie, have said they had a hard time understanding what Joaquin's character, Freddie, says a lot of the time!

Sami, you may want to wait for the DVD release and switch subtitles on BigGrin

I don't know. Not being able to read her lips or see her face all the time she was speaking made it difficult for me to figure out. She says something a little different to what you've written, Sami. She says "And he's dangerous and he will be (word + word) if we continue to have him here." The first missing word sounds like "on" to me, but I can't be sure.

Hmmm....I haven't watched all the trailer yet but I think I'm going to at the weekend. Fickle, I know....but, ah, temptation! BigGrin


The AA Letterman interview...Do you think Letterman is still miffed with Joaquin? "Bonehead" Laugh When AA mentioned that Joaquin was "invested" in his roles and Letterman said "Not invested enough to come here". Oooh. Miaow! Laugh Joaquin was the best thing that had happened to Letterman's show in a long time, and Letterman knows it!

Your transcript helps a lot. With this you can tell the meaning of the sentence already , thank you ! I am worried about not understanding the dialogues, it can be very frustrating because then you can't understand how the movie unfolds... I think what I'll do is I will watch it once and then I'll read the script ( it's online) and then watch it again, but maybe it won't be necessary !

It must be hard not to watch the trailers when they're just a click away ! In any case they don't reveal too much. My fave was the first one. You should watch that one first, you'll see ;-) .....

About Letterman , I don't know if I'm allowed to insult him in here but I think he's an old fart !

I have a friend that works in a high end retail store. I asked how much does a good suit cost she told me about $1200, but the really expensive ones are taylored. They go up to $20.000. Now when I look at the pics I see a celeb dressed and put together I just think about the money they spent on it and it turns me off. Why do I always need to ask questions ? It completely spoiled it !
