Marvel Doctor Strange Movie Taps Joaquin Phoenix As The 'Sorcerer Supreme' - 'The Hobbit: Battle Of Five Armies' Star Benedict Cumberbatch Reacts


However, the latest casting rumor includes Joaquin Phoenix being involved in the upcoming project.

Word has it that Phoenix is now in negotiations with Marvel Studios to work on the upcoming Doctor Strange movie. According to The Hollywood Reporter, an insider confirms that Phoenix is nearing to sign on the contract with Marvel.

Not to go off subject. but Kubrick was Great! He directed my other boyfriend Vincent D'Onofrio as Gomer Pyle in Full Metal Jacket. but, yes Marvel is comics.. it's very different from Kubricks' movie I Think.
