Well, Joaquin just confirmed he's single and not looking to settle down!

The article also said he currently has no partner and lives alone in Los Angeles. No plans to settle down yet then, apparently!

It's official then..Joaquin is single; straight from the horse's mouth.
I think Joaquin has said similar things in the past about not having a stable enough life for marriage and children, being selfish, enjoying his independence, etc. The article also mentions something about him wanting to "find himself", whatever that means. I can't help wondering if it has ever crossed Joaquin's mind that the key to finding himself might actually be in a relationship where commitment is high on the agenda.
Contrary to the break-up euphoria among fans I’m not happy that Joaquin has another failed relationship under his belt. He’s becoming a serial monogamist and I really doubt that makes him truly happy, fulfilled or ‘found’.
Just also want to say that I haven’t followed Joaquin’s relationship with Allie with much depth or interest and I know practically nothing about her or them as a couple but I doubt that all the gossip that’s going around has the true measure of their situation. jmo.

I reckon he does, kitten. When I read that snippet on the link justme posted I thought it was a hotch-potch re-modelled from past interviews but it's from a German magazine called ' Instyle' apparently. It's always a risk commenting on snippets of articles or interviews, I suppose, because they are often taken out of context or don't give the whole picture. Maybe it will read differently when (if) we get to read the full interview and of course there's always he chance that he was, well maybe not lying exactly, but just saying something for the sake of saying it. Ha ha, now everyone's quoting that article everywhere! But apparently, he's said the same thing a few times in the past! And yeah, in the last couple of years, when he was with Heather and then Allie, he often referred to "my girlfriend" in interviews-not in detail, just mentioning spending time with them and things. And now yeah, he described himself as single in this interview!

The Master. What a great performance !!! Amazing . Period. I'm in trance 
So, I am an actress and I have the same question. I think: "am I more
spiritual or more athletic? Perhaps none of these things. Perhaps I'm
just funky and fun, stop worrying about it! I should dress more like an
executive.. no like a hippie.. oh stop it." this is the type of thing that goes on in my head, lol. Anyhow, perhaps today I found the answer and it is "don't try to label it"... suddenly I felt real.
I hope Joaquin will find his answer soon as well. he is a very inspiring artist  Esther

I agree Joaquin is a very inspiring artist, nice to have you on this forum. and i'm glad you are an actress. Hope you enjoy what you do. I am an "aspiring actress" as they call it myself. i did a couple of things. a video and a commercial. I hope to do more stuff in the future. i am working on myself and my health and my body before i pursue more stuff to do:) xoxoxo i wish you the best Esther.
