I like how this pic is half in profile and shadow and how the light catches Joaquin's eyes.

Yeah, I noticed that too. His eyes shine in spite of the shadow. This pic reminds me of a youtube video I watched a while ago . It was a fan who made it. She compared Joaquin to a wolf. Do you see any resemblance? I wish I could find the video. It was pretty well done.

Yes, his eyes do shine - points of light in them. I can't say that I've ever thought of comparing Joaquin to a wolf but some people see all sorts of things. This pic always reminds me of the god Pan. It's the little flick of hair at his ear that does it mostly but also the way he's cupped his hands, like playing the pipes.

I 've seen this pic be4. I never thought he was playing the pipes but now that you mention it.. It does look like it. I assumed he was smoking ..btw, I'm quitting smoking. I'm using Allen Carr method.

Good luck! Yes, I think Joaquin is lighting up a fag. The little flick of hair at his left ear makes it look like (to me) the pointy ears of Pan. It gets me every time.

Yes, Admin! That's a great photo!  Wouldn't it be easier for Joaquin just to have a pocket lighter to light his cigs though? Yes, Sami....Joaquin could be cupping his hands to play the harmonica Johnny Cash style (re: the 'God Pan' pic.) I think that photo was pre-WTL though. Might be wrong.
